THE EXPERIENCE

A retreat with
room to breathe.

Six days of movement, stillness, connection and exploration. A gentle rhythm, with space to follow what feels right for you.

Collage of women hiking, crafting by a fire, resting on a yoga bolster, sharing a meal and journaling, alongside mountain, lake and village scenes.

AT YOUR OWN PACE

A day might
look like this.

Some experiences invite you outward. Others invite you to pause and notice what’s happening within.

This is an example of the rhythm, rather than a fixed schedule. Plans may change with the Scottish weather and the needs of the group.

Nothing is mandatory.
Every activity is an invitation.

  1. Gentle morning movement

Yoga, breath and grounding. Wake up slowly.

  2. Breakfast together

A nourishing start and time to connect.

  3. Nervous-system exploration

Experiential learning and practical stress-management tools to build lasting resilience.

  4. Lunch

Fresh food, shared stories, a moment to pause.

  5. Choose your own adventure

A guided hike, a swim, creativity, a village - or your book and a quiet corner.

  6. Dinner

Come back together around the table.

  7. Ease into the evening

A fire circle, sound bath or yin yoga.

What’s Not Included

Your retreat includes plenty of opportunities to explore Scotland, from the beautiful Loch Lomond area, with possible visits to Stirling, Balmaha, Conic Hill, Luss, RSBP Loch Lomond Bird Preserve, and Drymen but some of the best and most memorable moments will likely be from our time at the Ardoch estate, building lasting friendships and restoring from our busy lives.

If you’d like to venture farther afield, there may also be opportunities to join an optional guided excursion or tour to places such as Glencoe or Edinburgh and include activities such as puffin-watching cruise, castle tours, exploring a professional royal garden, a Neolithic site visit, pony trekking, ferry rides, bike or paddleboard rental, spa treatments and stress-management coaching.a0

These extended adventures are not included in the retreat price and would be offered as optional add-ons or independent free time ideas, subject to availability and final pricing. This keeps the price lower and the pace slower for anyone not interested.

You’ll have the ease of choosing from pre-planned experiences without needing to organize every detail yourself. Group tours depend on sufficient interest.

The following are also not included in the retreat price:

  • Airfare and travel insurance (highly recommended)
  • The one dinner out at a nearby restaurant
  • Alcoholic and soft drinks
  • Personal expenses, tips, and gratuities
  • Optional excursions and guided tours beyond the included local outings. We'll send you forms after registration to gauge interest and secure add-on group outing fees.
  • Spa treatments and individual coaching
  • Travel, meals, and refreshments during independent outings

Take a little Scotland home with you.

Beyond the keepsakes you'll be gifted from Wild & Rooted and the souvenirs you'll find along the way, you may discover something even more meaningful: practical tools for understanding your body's stress responses, finding moments of grounding, and bringing what resonates into everyday life.

Imagine returning home feeling…

More connected to your body, with a better sense of how to listen to what you need.

More expressive, with space for your voice, emotions, and creativity.

More whole, making room for both your softness and your strength.

More alive, with a renewed sense of curiosity, adventure, and play.

More connected to others through genuine conversations and shared experiences with women who just get it.

More in tune with your own rhythm, finding space for both activity and rest, structure and spontaneity.

And perhaps, simply, more like yourself.

Not because Scotland will change you, but because stepping outside your everyday life may create space to reconnect with parts of yourself that have been waiting for your attention.

THE PARTICULARS
